Lenten Reflection Series- March 17th, 2021

We hear today more about the authority and identity of Jesus. Jesus had such obedience to his Father and the will of his Father to put away his own earthly desire even at the point of death is the reason we are able to achieve the Father’s grace.

Jesus makes it known it cannot be earthly desires that control our lives but our desire to fulfill the plan and will of the Father. We are not capable of anything without his guidance and presence in our lives. He is our source for strength and hope.

As the Church celebrates St. Patrick today, allow him to be a model of true desire for the Father’s will. St. Patrick left the comforts of home to be a missionary in Ireland. He relied on the Father for strength and protection everytime his life was in danger, he did not turn back.

May these great examples be a desire for you to more obediently pursue the Father.

God Bless,
Jonathan
