Lenten Reflection Series- February 25th, 2021

2/25/2021

Our faith is tested every day of our lives yet we consistently turn towards God because we know of the Father’s love. In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that our human inclination to be adventurous will only deepen our faith and trust in God. We should never be afraid to search for something if we long for it as long as we ask God to accompany us on our journey.

Parents always seem to know the perfect Christmas or birthday gift for their son or daughter because who knows their children best but their mother or father? God our Father has an unlimited amount of mercy to give us and will always answer our prayers according to what we NEED not what we WANT.

As we continue on our Lenten journey today, think about one thing you are afraid to ask for. Maybe you want to take a leap of faith and try a new career or you want to ask that girl for her hand in marriage. God will always answer you and send the Holy Spirit to guide you. You won’t know what’s behind the door until you knock.

God Bless,
Jonathan
