Frederick Smith, 76, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday (May 9, 2019) in Buffalo General Hospital, Buffalo, N.Y. He was born Jan. 4, 1943. in Olean, N.Y., the son of the late Frederick N. and Elvira Gagliardi Smith. Fred enjoyed attending the Resource Center Day Hab Program and was a member of the programs choir. He also enjoyed bowling, dancing, country music and watching “Dancing With The Stars.” He is survived by his brother, George Smith; two sisters: Sandra (Gary) Crane and Sharon Ellis; his extended family and caregiver, Cheryl Stewart; Georgianna Ribing, Rachel Baglia, Beth Bundy, Cindy (Doug) Penhollow; and extended grandchildren: Tobi, Trey, Claire; and several nieces and nephews.
Theodore Kalembkiewicz, 95, passed away on June 29, 2019 at the Chautauqua County Nursing & Rehab Center. Ted was born in Lubienia, Rzeszow Poland on April 10, 1924 and came to the U.S. in 1951. He joined the Polish Forces under British Command during WWII and served in Italy 1945-46 and in the UK 1946-49. He received the War Medal 1939/45 from Britain. He worked at the Ford Motor Co. for 30 years. Ted was the beloved husband of the late Florence (nee Bilski), dear father to Christine, Annette and Kenneth; fond grandfather to Brian, Steven, Carolin, Erin and Kenneth Jr.; great grandfather to Ella, Emalee, and Steven. Ted was a proud Polish Army veteran, a member of the Chopin Singing Society and a lifelong member of St. Stanislaus RC Church in Buffalo. He was an avid outdoors man and world traveler.

She also was a certified Realtor in the Hamburg, New York area. The family relocated to West Chester in 1984, and Rose called that area and nearby towns, home until her passing. Rose had a love of the arts, contributing her time and efforts to many programs in her community. Additionally, she cherished the times spent traveling and celebrating life with her lifelong friends. She will be dearly missed by all.

Carl belonged to Boilermaker Local 7 for over 35 years. He was a proud member of the Army National Guard for 23 years, and a member of American Legion Post 0527
Frederick Smith, 76, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday (May 9, 2019) in Buffalo General Hospital, Buffalo, N.Y. He was born Jan. 4, 1943. in Olean, N.Y., the son of the late Frederick N. and Elvira Gagliardi Smith. Fred enjoyed attending the Resource Center Day Hab Program and was a member of the programs choir. He also enjoyed bowling, dancing, country music and watching “Dancing With The Stars.” He is survived by his brother, George Smith; two sisters: Sandra (Gary) Crane and Sharon Ellis; his extended family and caregiver, Cheryl Stewart; Georgianna Ribing, Rachel Baglia, Beth Bundy, Cindy (Doug) Penhollow; and extended grandchildren: Tobi, Trey, Claire; and several nieces and nephews.
Theodore Kalembkiewicz, 95, passed away on June 29, 2019 at the Chautauqua County Nursing & Rehab Center. Ted was born in Lubienia, Rzeszow Poland on April 10, 1924 and came to the U.S. in 1951. He joined the Polish Forces under British Command during WWII and served in Italy 1945-46 and in the UK 1946-49. He received the War Medal 1939/45 from Britain. He worked at the Ford Motor Co. for 30 years. Ted was the beloved husband of the late Florence (nee Bilski), dear father to Christine, Annette and Kenneth; fond grandfather to Brian, Steven, Carolin, Erin and Kenneth Jr.; great grandfather to Ella, Emalee, and Steven. Ted was a proud Polish Army veteran, a member of the Chopin Singing Society and a lifelong member of St. Stanislaus RC Church in Buffalo. He was an avid outdoors man and world traveler.

Born Rose Marie Pineau on October 10, 1934 as the eldest of 5 daughters and one son to Margurite and Peter Pineau, Rose is pre-deceased by her son Michael and husband Donald. Rose is survived by daughters Laurel Lamparelli (David) and Cheryl Fritz, and son Kevin McCarthy (Maria), by sisters Bette, Zella, Yvonne, and Grace and brother Hubert and grandchildren James, Brittany, Christopher, Ryan, Noah, Sarah and Adam and great-grandson Jaycob. Rose graduated from Eden Central School in 1953 and Buffalo State in 1957. Rose worked as a substitute art teacher while she raised her family in Depew, then Lake View, New York. She also was a certified Realtor in the Hamburg, New York area. The family relocated to West Chester in 1984, and Rose called that area and nearby towns, home until her passing. Rose had a love of the arts, contributing her time and efforts to many programs in her community. Additionally, she cherished the times spent traveling and celebrating life with her lifelong friends. She will be dearly missed by all.
